Childrens Liturgy of the Word

There are two groups for Children's Liturgy of the Word for the 10.00am mass on Sunday.  Children who have not yet made their First Holy Communion are invited to leave Mass after the opening prayer for their own liturgy. The children rejoin Mass at the offertory.

First Holy Communion

The First Holy Communion Class is run by Sr. Winn for children in year 3 at both Catholic and non-Catholic schools. The Class begins at 5.30pm every Tuesday evening.  The children must go to Mass every sunday.  The class runs for a school year. The children normally make their First Confession during Lent and their First Holy Communion in June. The class look at for areas of faith: Belonging to the Church ~ The Mass ~ Reconciliation ~ The Eucharist. This programme will provide the understanding required to receive First Communion
